Charleen Ternian
Charleen Ternian began her studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she attained a B.S. in Biology in 2005. After graduating from UCSB, Charleen headed to Chicago to attain a post-baccalaureate degree in Biomedical Sciences, where she also attained a Certificate in Research in 2008. After leaving Chicago, Charleen started her own company (SafegreenUSA™) that distributes safety products to companies. She also began working full time for RAMTOX. Under George Zoumalan’s training, Charleen became the main research specialist and compliance specialist for the company. Charleen handles over 180 clients for RAMTOX and deals with each of them on a day-to-day basis.

George S. Zoumalan, PhD, NREPA

Dr. George S. Zoumalan began working in the environmental industry in 1986 while working at the ARCO refinery in Carson, California. Dr. Zoumalan obtained his Bachelors of Chemistry from Tehran University and continued his education in France and the United States. He has performed hundreds of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments since 1986 and currently oversees and manages RAMTOX.

INTERNSHIPS – Bianca Golpashin
Internships Over the years RAMTOX has offered many internships opportunities to students. We offer and work with schools and students from universities such as California State University of Northridge.
RAMTOX offers the most one-on-one internship experience. We take those that are enrolled in our internship and have taught them A-Z what RAMTOX handles on a daily basis. We work with students and teach them from scratch how to handle permits, deal with chemical inventories, complete VOC work, etc. Students also get the opportunity to do site inspections with our certified and qualified staff.

At Ramtox we have student work and training stations, as the one shown below, for students to carry out various tasks and work on their assigned projects. Interns work on a wide variety of projects such as filing CERS, filing and submitting air quality permits, etc…
Students who have notably completed our internship program have received positions at various esteemed companies such as Northrop Grumman, Amazon, and various County Environmental Departments as Inspectors.
